Axient Subsidiary, SEG, and TNO Enter NATO/Air and Missile Defense Analysis Agreement

The Netherlands Organization for applied scientific research (TNO) and Axient’s subsidiary, Systems Engineering Group, have entered into an agreement to cooperate on analysis involving NATO and joint areas focused on Air and Missile Defense. The parties, recognizing the complementarity of their respective capabilities, want to formalize their partnership by entering into this agreement to: align collaboration efforts with customer priorities; establish a framework for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs); and reflect in writing certain principles in anticipation of the execution of Commissions and Projects. The purpose of the agreement also encourages the exchange of information that will benefit mutual research and development and achieve technical synergies.

The agreement, signed at the Space and Missile Defense Symposium in a joint ceremony, is the first official step in a longer process for Axient to expand its world class modeling and simulation capabilities in the areas of Missile Defense. This agreement is a great example of a win-win teaming arrangement where each party shall benefit from the effort, both in the short and long-term.
