DCI Part of Dynetics Team Awarded HLS Contract

Dynamic Concepts, Inc. (DCI) congratulates Dynetics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, on their study contract award for the NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration Human Landing System Program. DCI is fortunate and excited to be a valued team member in helping Dynetics and their world-class team build a prototype leading to a full-scale development contract. This is an exciting time for our country with the much anticipated return to Human Space Exploration. DCI will be supporting Dynetics in DCI’s core areas: structures and loads, HWIL M&S, rendezvous and docking.

DCI REST Overview
Learn More

We are working with the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command (US Army SMDC) and NASA to develop REST, is a real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulation environment for small satellite systems. It is expandable and configurable to aid in satellite hardware/software design, interface development, and test.

The REST simulation engine uses concurrent rack mount servers, RedHawk real-time OS, I/O operating cards, and an Infiniband network interface. The system is based on the ARTEMIS and MAESTRO simulation environments developed for NASA’s Space Launch System, and offers orbital scene and ground track visualizations.
