Axient Employees Participate in Panel Discussions at SpaceCom 2023

Axient had a great time attending and sponsoring SpaceCom 2023 in Orlando, Florida last week!

Chris Seidel moderated the “Cybersecurity Infrastructure” panel with Elizabeth Huy, Alluvionic, George Kiersted, Ecuron, Sid Kaul, All Points, and Rob Powell, NASA.
Devin Dickens moderated the “Commercializing NASA & DoD Services & Systems” panel with Thomas Kacpura, NASA Glenn, Greg Heckler, NASA, Brian Rider, LeoStella, and Mark Bontrager, US Space Force; the “Mission Critical Connectivity” panel with Brian Barnett, Solstar Space Comp, Jacqueline Good, Magnestar, and Erik Eliasen, Viasat; and the “Tracking & Managing Space Debris” panel with John Dargin, Ironstar Engineering, Dr. Siamak Hesar, Kayhan Space, Doug Chunn, Slingshot Aerospace, and Moriba Jah, Privateer.

Devin Dickens also gave a TINA-Talk (Technology, Innovation and Advancement) titled “Stop Losing Focus and Just Space Out: Fighting Burnout on the Ground.”

Kevin Heath moderated the “Disruptors Setting the Pace of Commercial Innovation” panel with Lewis Jones, Seraphim: Generation Space, Joe Kroener, NASA, Debra Facktor, AIRBUS U.S. Space Systems, and Kenneth Mouradian, US Export Assistance Center.

Axient’s Tina Leighty works closely with the NSCFC (National Space Club Florida Committee) and represents Axient in the aerospace community as Program Chair for SpaceCom | Space Congress.
