PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITY

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our employees took the initiative to produce 3D-printed personal protective equipment (PPE) to assist with the shortage in northern Alabama. In total, the team created ~300 face shields and ~450 masks.

Safety and Support

Axient provides a clean, safe, and healthy work environment. Each employee has responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, procedures, or behaviors. Violence and threatening behavior are not permitted. Employees must report to work in a condition to perform their duties, free from the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.

Employees should speak, without fear of retribution or consequence, with anyone in their management chain when they have a question about the application of the Code of Conduct or when in doubt about how to properly act in a particular situation. Employees who violate the Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including discharge.

Lawful Conduct

At Axient, we expect full compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations at all times.

Employees may not accept nor offer bribe anyone for any reason, whether in dealings with governments or the private sector. The U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and similar laws in other countries, prohibit offering or giving anything of value, directly or indirectly, to government officials in order to obtain or retain business.

Financial books, records, accounts and financial statements must be maintained in appropriate detail, must properly reflect the Company’s transactions and must conform both to applicable law and to the Company’s system of internal controls.

 

Conflicts of Interest

In performing their duties, employees are expected to use their judgment to always act in the best interests of the Company and to not allow personal interests to interfere with the best interests of the Company. A conflict of interest may also arise from an employee’s business or personal relationship with a customer, supplier, competitor, business partner, or other employee, if that relationship impairs the employee’s objective judgment. Employees should attempt to avoid conflicts of interest and employees who believe a conflict of interest may exist should promptly notify the OCI Compliance Officer.
